Fire Generated BTU to Resource Requirements

Welcome to the FireBridge. This is the place to learn about Wildland Fire Generated BTU’s and how to determine what the equivalent amount of water and retardant would be required along with resources to suppress that said fire.

We will cover everything from Fire Ground Hydraulics, to Fire Generated BTU, to pumping operations and the like.

This is a highly specialized topic. Many think they know and many think they can do; what I do routinely. I Do not invent new things or ideas, per se. I take old complicated ideas and concepts and try to make them understandable for the new or old wildland firefighter to better do their job.
